  Career  

Philippe has been in charge of the Domaine de Clairefontaine since 1983. In 1990, he was joined by his wife, Laurence, and they now both welcome you to their family home. They have three children.   

Prior to this, Philippe built up his experience at the following establishments:

1979 BEC FIN (Mr. Jolivet) Vienne

1980 LA PYRAMIDE  (Mrs. Point) Vienne

1981 L’OASIS  (Mr. Outhier)  La Napoule 

1982 ROYAL GRAY (Mr. Chibois) Cannes

1983 WATERSIDE INN (the Roux Brothers) Bray on Thames, England

  • Médaille de l’artisanat (crafts medal) from Isère Departmental Council
  • Médaille  “professeur de goût” (Professor of taste medal) from the National Council of Culinary Arts
  • Médaille de l’enseignement technique (technical teaching medal) awarded by the Superintendant of Isère School District
